I have just started going to school for cosmetology. I really love the school that I'm at the only thing about it is the instructor that's teaching us is really not doing her job. She don't teach out the book. We are suppose to be learn how to pass state board test. But, everything that she's teaching us is beautyshop, which is setting us up for failure. I don't think that its ok for her to be getting a paycheck and were not learning anything about stateboard. It's not just me that feel this way almost everyone in the class feel this way. I'm thinking of transferring to another school. Then I might just report her cause my time and money is paying for her to do her job which she is not doing at all.

I've been in beauty industry for 8 years and am now looking to branch out in the laser hair removal side of it. School tuition is 5,270 and I'm not able to come up with all of it. I need to have it paid off by Feb, 1 2010 and am working towards that but still need to pay bills. If anyone can help please let me know.

I would like to find out if there are any scholarships available for college or trade school bound students with a significant mental illness diagnosis? My daughter has worked hard to earn her GED after spending the first 3 years of high school in and out of behavioral health hospitals. My predicament is that the medical bills have pretty much taken all of the money that I had saved for her college education. The staff at the IndustrialServicesCenter in our county can attest to her drive and willingness to work hard and her determination to attend a trade school for cosmetology. The hardest part of this is that I too battle mental illness and though I am medicated I am not always 100% able to work on getting her the help that she so rightfully deserves. Any help would be very much appreciated in located any aid.
